  • Badfellas feed update failure

Good day,

I love Trisul, I am just using it in my home lab currently for security research and to improve my knowledge but I have a question/bug. I have look through the Web admin -> Manage -> Plugin Data Updates menu and I have noticed that the badfellas threat feeds seem to fail to update.

The message I am getting is that as follows:

file:///usr/local/share/trisul/plugins/badfellas-local.tsv (File does not exists)

And

file:///usr/local/share/trisul/plugins/badfellas-local-longtail.csv (File does not exists)

Now checking for the directory, I can see the there are no folders for 'trisul' in /usr/local/share/

There are folders such as "trisul-badfells" and 'trisul-geo' etc.

Have I installed the software incorrectly? I used the guide in the installation section of the website.

My OS is Ubuntu 18.04

Please let me know if I have done something wrong or if you would like more info from me.

    Hi,

    That is just a warning.
    You can create that file and put your custom indicators in that file.

    The other threat feeds should have downloaded.
    You should see that in the Success/Fail status on that table.
